Buildsoft Take Off System

BTOS allows the user take off quantities directly from drawings. These drawings can be a hard copy (digitiser required) or a soft copy e.g. a computer file such as DXF/DWG normally exported from a CAD program, others include PDF, Bitmap, JPEG, GIF.

It's that Simple...

Call a CAD file up on screen or place the plan on the Digitizer board, set a vertical and horizontal scale or select a in-built scale and then plot the plan directly into the computer. It's that simple.

Click the corners of the plan and then enter openings and have an estimate measured in minutes using BTOS.

Take-off lineal metres, areas, volumes and vertical area results, by simply tracing one shape, think of a rectangle, by tracing in this shape you can return a lineal result, a area result, add a depth measurement to return a volume, add the height of the wall to return a vertical area. It’s that simple.

Enter door and window openings and the software will calculate quantities less the deductions automatically. This quantity is then transferred into any of our the estimating systems, or into a third party program such as Microsoft-Excel™.
